Three victims of the New Orleans playground shooting Sunday (Nov. 23) are in critical condition, according to officials with the University Medical Center New Orleans.
Dr. Peter Deblieux, chief medical officer and head of the emergency department, said that 12 of the 17 victims were taken to the hospital in Mid-City, nine by EMS and three by private vehicle.
Three victims are in critical condition, one is in guarded condition, and eight were treated and released, Deblieux said.
